At Angels On Duty, we employ a rigorous 15-point hiring process to ensure our caregivers meet the highest standards of professionalism and compassion.

Our Angels: Selection Process

  • Experience Required: Candidates must have healthcare or elderly care experience, a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Thorough Screening: Includes criminal background checks, pre-employment phone interviews, drug screenings (both pre-employment and random), character and professional references, and registration with the Family Care Safety Registry.
  • In-Depth Orientation and Training: All employees complete orientation, receive continuous hands-on training, and are supervised by a Registered Nurse.
  • Commitment to Quality Care: All staff members are fully bonded, insured, and directly employed by Angels On Duty.

Our 15-Point Hiring Criteria

  1. Healthcare and/or elderly care experience is required
  2. Must have a valid driver’s license.
  3. Must provide proof of insurance and have reliable transportation.
  4. All caregivers are employed directly by Angels On Duty.
  5. Comprehensive criminal background checks for all applicants.
  6. A pre-employment phone interview to assess qualifications.
  7. Pre-employment and random drug screening.
  8. In-person interviews to evaluate character and compatibility.
  9. Character references required for all employees.
  10. Professional references are mandatory.
  11. Registration of every employee with the Family Care Safety Registry.
  12. An in-depth orientation process before the first shift.
  13. Ongoing hands-on training and continuous support.
  14. All caregivers are bonded and insured.
  15. Supervision by a Registered Nurse to maintain quality care.
