Does My Insurance Cover Angels On Duty Services?
Understanding Insurance Coverage for Private Duty Care
Most insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, and individual health insurance, do not typically cover private duty services like those offered by Angels On Duty. Our services are usually billed directly to clients.
Coverage with Long-Term Care Policies
If you have a Long-Term Care Policy, it may cover some or all of the costs based on your policy terms and provider. Clients can choose to manage claims independently or authorize Angels On Duty to handle submissions biweekly.
Elimination Periods for Long-Term Care Policies
Long-Term Care Policies often have an elimination period (waiting period) before benefits begin. This period can range from 30 to 90 days, depending on the policy.
